"Death in Mozambique" is a two-act drama currently in the production process in New York City. It has received two staged readings over the past six months. This play is the culmination of about a year's worth of interviews and research about the African country of Mozambique in 1992.
The plot centers around a unique group of six people at a bar called "Freedom" in Beira, Mozambique. The country's civil war just ended, but we cannot say the same for our characters. Two Americans, two Africans, and two Russians try to escape the sins of their pasts and find home.
More updates will be posted here as they are available. As of yet, the play has a crew and potential space. Production is set for July. Please contact me if interested.
